Sounds like Ontario and California are so far reported states, where the owner has to declare weights he is going to carry and nobody looks at bogus door stickers anymore.
The difference seems to be that in California you have to declare GCVW and in Ontario GVW ?
Sad news is that other states like to follow California with their laws sooner or later.
