My registration in Ontario lets me up my weight to 5000kg no increase in cost of truck license am I still considered overloaded at a scale does anyone have any info on this. I can go as high as 6000kg but for a heafty price tag and I don't need the extra weight, currently registered at 5000kg

I have mine registered for 4K kgs GVWR and am typically close to 8K kgs GCVWR, camper has 7000lbs on the axle and around 900lbs on the tongue plus passengers and gear.
They are NOT going to pull over a TC and weight it. Way to much worry about these numbers and Ontario tags. It's a RV not commercial.
