Hail damage and Mobile Techs?

So as many of you have seen on the news my hometown of Granbury took a pretty good hit. Anyhow we did alright only taking a bit of hail damage. Unfortunately my new RV took some good shots to the skylights. My Father in Law was there this morning looking over the roof and said that's the only damage he noticed was cracked/broken skylights. I would like to get them replaced ASAP as to avoid any chance of water damage from future storms/rains. Is this something that a Mobile RV tech can fix or will it have to go back to the dealer? The dealer is a PITA option as I'm not home and she has no clue how to pull a trailer.

Any thoughts on this?

    Easy fixes. New lids for roof vents are around 20 dollars each. Skylight should be maybe 80-100 dollars.

    Have you worked w/Mobile RV tech before? These are fairly easy fixes but I'm always wary of anyone calling him or herself a "Mobile" anything.

    My friend owns a RV repair center and he offers mobile service. For a repair like yours he would come to you since it does not involve alot of work or special tools. For other jobs he requires the repairs be done in his shop.

    This is my first RV and have only owned it since Dec or so. I figured there would be something like a mobile RV tech to take care of smaller problems.

    I emailed the Dealership I purchased it from to see if they had a mobile service. They do not but they are setting up a truck to come get it and bring it back in for a full inspection/estimate/possible repair. Any thoughts on this?

    I would think having a Mobile Service repair it would be least inexpensive. Don't know if you are using your insurance on this? If the FIL inspected everything and was able to seal any cracks in the skylights, you ought to have no worry about any further damage. I had a vent cover taped for months with foil tape and if didn't leak at all.

    I called a mobile service once. They wanted $180 just to show up then $110 per hour for any repairs. If they did not have the parts on the truck it would be another $180 to come back out again. I just said thank you for your time and hung up. Secured it so I could drive to the dealer (awning problem). They fixed it in an hour, less than $100.

    A dealer that's willing to come get your camper and give it a going over sounds pretty good to me.
