I recently got 20.2mpg(not towing) on a 400 mile RT trip, in my 2014 3.5 SCREW Ecoboost F150. It was a mix of freeway, country roads and some stop and go city driving.
And since it was in Washington, there wasn't much flat driving.
i get usually average 10-11mpg towing.
