I'm more interested in checking off the "Diesel Engine" option box on my next brand new truck.
As of September 1st of this year...both Toyota and Nissan are serious about diesels in their trucks...most probably the 5.0 Diesel from Cummins in the Nissan, and Toyota is also considering the Cummins due to the highly regarded and recognised brand name of Cummins in the US.
I'd buy a Toyota Cummins Diesel! IF! Has to be a 3/4 or 1 ton truck. Full sized bed, heavy frame, etc.
