Thank You For the Replies. Yes i am planning to get the Ford F-350 XLC CC 8'bed 4X off Road. Sorry I left that out of the first post. I will check out the Outfitter Apex and Four Wheel to make sure. My plan is make summer and fall camping at a week or two at a time, maybe a month out, with up to two people at the most. Starting in the Black Hills in SD into Wyomings BH Mountains. Wyoming could take the whole summer and fall by its self. Eventually all of the Western States. May take a few years just depends on how mush food, water I use. Gas will come into play on how far out i get. This is a few years out but that is why i am planning now for retirement.
I have also read that Yellowstone NP, you should have a hard sided camper. So might have to check on that.
