hanging outside propane stove/ hook to the quick fitting

I just remembered, I was trying to use a specific stove that uses the small bottles, Camp Chef "Ranger" series stoves will work, they sell an RV quick connect hose for that model stove, I was trying to use it with a "mountain" series which won't work.
