We use a lot of the afore mentioned adhesive hooks. The wall material is very thin for nails or screws. They have worked for coats, brooms and dust pans etc. We used some of the smaller hooks for light weight mirrors.
I did have an issue where the adhesive hook stuck so well to the wall paper that the wall paper buckled from the weight of the object. I used a small brad through the hook to lock the wall paper in place.
We did install a full length mirror but I build a frame and mounted it to the bathroom door.
