72W/12V=6A, so for 4 hours run time you'd use 24Ah.
That's what I originally thought as well but I've read in numerous posts that in reality, the strip uses about 2.6 amps unless using all white lights and then it's a full 6 amps (R-2A, G-2A, B-2A) so it's very confusing.
