We do a lot of day trips with our truck when over-wintering in Florida.
So in your plan, the 48V Heat pump and any 110V appliances would not be available at that time. But your trailer would still have some independent 12V battery capability for smaller 12V stuff, and the emergency brake cut-off.
Also, how did you find an F250 Diesel with 2750# payload? All the ones I've seen are closer to 2000#. Maybe a RegCab 4x2 ?
