For those with fire wood restrictions, does this apply to milled lumber? I replaced several sections of fence this year and saved all my old fence wood for kindling / fire wood. I'm just more curious than anything to know if it is just wood in the tree form that they are worried about or wood altogether. Some years ago I went on an out of State trip and brought my fire wood with me from CA. I had a small amount leftover and attempted to bring it back with me but it was confiscated at the border check point.
Around here never a problem with cut and dried lumber. With the added benefit of it stacking really well. NEVER used treated or painted wood as the fumes are not user friendly
