have experience with a Shadow Cruiser TC, (1993) ?

My question is will this model 950 fit on a 2004 F250 with a 6'7" bed. Dealer says no, But it would still rest on the tailgate. I figure I have 8 1/2 feet of bed with tailgate down. Thanks for any ...

I think the major question is not if you can make it fit, but how strong is your tailgate.
25 yo camper will likely have weak floor, so it might take some reinforcing all together.
