I found a deal on a shortbed camper but if I was buying a new truck, it'd be a LWB DRW and I'd buy the biggest camper that'd not overload the truck.
The only way I can imagine that I'd wish for a smaller truck is if somehow I no longer cared that it was significantly overloaded, which must be the case for those of you with hard side truck campers or 5th wheels with 2k+ lbs of pin weight on your 3/4 ton trucks with sub-9k lb GVWRs, 4 door cabs, 4wd, and diesel engines.
