That is what I would think about - how do I know I'll never need it in the future.
I know that I'll never need it because there are no channels over the air here anymore. The one remaining channel I get at home from my mast antenna is due to stop broadcasting over the air at the end of this year.
When I first put my mast antenna up at my house I got 4 channels, then dropped to 2, now just 1, soon zero.
