Since most TTs need weight distribution for reasons other than sway, (to return the front axle weight) this device would not be appropriate in most cases. That's according to the manufacturer of the device.
As I mentioned in original post. I chatted with the company and they it works just fine with WD. They say that is there because many trailers with WD will struggle to find a good mounting place on the A-Frame.
