CUMMINS/AISIN are a True Medium Duty combo. The parts around them are top notch also!
Now that's funny. Keep up the propaganda. There's a reason why Ram's resale value is lower than the other brands.
Don't think so. Comparing all three diesels. But if you have some proof please post it.
Projecting forward 3-5 years, the Ram will have less value because it's the most dated truck on the market. The Ford and GMs have recently been updated and those models will hold value better compared to a current Ram once the new model is introduced in 2019.
I'm also curious to know why there are more trucks on the road with over 200K miles from Ford and GM but not Dodge/Ram or whatever company they're called today? Chrysler has been in financial ruin numerous times for a reason. People don't trust their product. I've owned every brand and Chrysler is the only one to give me serious issues with multiple models. Unfortunately, my story is not an outlier.
Now to the original question. I'm not sure about the OPs local market but I've found all three brands very similar in price every time I've purchased except once. That one time was during Chrysler's 2009 bankruptcy when I found a cheap Ram 2500 with 0% financing and employee pricing plus additional rebates. However, that truck gave me plenty of issues and I wish I would have spent the extra coin on another brand.
Maybe current prices are due to timing with current rebates or maybe you haven't found a good GM/Ford dealer willing to deal. I do know FCA is hurting financially so maybe they're priced low for a reason.
Well one reason you see so many 200K Fords on the market is because of the 6.0L PSD. People who had the 6.0 had to spend so much money to "bullet proof" them that they were way underwater. I have two friend who own these trucks and both have spent thousands to make them right. Combine that with the low resale (due to the 6.0) and you have no choice but hold onto them for a long time.
