IMHO...that is the biggie in the Marketing ID person decision to kill
their 'King of the Hill' SUV Ford's Excursion gave the 8.6K Sub a run,
but it didn't make it for long
But, numbers are not the main thing and again IMHO
1933 is the first year of the Suburban and has the longest continuous running
marketing badge in automotive history. It is also the most recognized
badge in the world
Sooner than later...foreign badges *WILL* come out with a +8.6K GVWR full sized
pickup and SUV...to eat Detroit's lunch...again...if Detroit doesn't have this
already on showroom floors
