That's why we have always included the removable carpet option when offered. Then we put carpet runner/runners to suit in the high wear (heavy traffic) areas. Warm floors even in below zero F temps in winter and the runners keep the TC or 5th wheel/TT or MH carpet clean! Cuts heat loss while providing a lot of additional comfort.
Also great as it lets and snow dragged in on shoes/boots that melts in the heated interior go thru to the vinyl flooring so your bare or stocking feet don't get wet. An excellent sound absorbing/deadening feature free too. Win win win is the best!!!
So cheap to buy a high quality very thick appropriate color carpet remnant and cut it to fit yourself with tin snips etc and no need to ever glue it down. Even can have the edges bound professionally at a canvas or carpet place so it looks truely OEM.
Remember that 25% of a structures heat is lost thru the floor and that's BIG!
Gotta use the "ole" noddle as there's more than one way to skin a cat and do it better and cheaper!
