I thought of carrying a vacuum but my wife is mad enough at me for keeping the camper cleaner than most homes - Why do you have your shoes on? Please use a plate and stop dropping crumbs!!. Most of my trips are only a few days (2 - 8) I just vacuum when I get home. When I have had a mess to deal with I have pulled out the carpet and beaten it (like in the old days) and put it back in. Even took it out at one place and let it sit in the sun for a while after a couple days of rain, removed the dampness and it smelled so nice and clean!
