I have a Hieki in my 2008 which was manufactored in 2007. It looks differant than the Hieki 2 in the above picture. IMO its over enginered and flimsy.
Also ,what I had mis-diagnosed as a leak was actually water coming back up the weep drain channels located in the rearward facing corners of the unit. I had the camper parked on a sloping driveway with the nose down. When it rained hard the water would overwhelm the weep drains and end up on the bed. For awhile I assumed it was poor installation at the factory. Not so. Turns out, leveling the camper by chocking the trucks front wheels solved the issue.
Its the major complaint I have with my Lance, I hate the damn Hieki.
