HELLO! New to forums and new (to me) camper (1995)

the fridge in our camper takes a long time to cool down even on shore power...like 2 hours or more. We normally pack in a cooler, then turn the fridge on first thing once power is hooked up at the campground, then move the stuff from the cooler to the fridge once it's finally cool. Don't know if that is normal, but yours seems to be much the same. We don't normally run the fridge on propane while traveling - just no need so far.
