Extreme heat and cold have no affect on parts that are already welded together. The temps around me are well below freezing in the winter and can be 100 degrees in the summer and yet I see welded aluminum trailers everywhere.
TBH I just heard that from one person who didn’t even own an aluminum TT, so I’d believe you over him. :)

The Taylor coach is very well built, super light, and has a 4 year warranty on the structure for many people that takes precedence over a modern look. I would buy a Taylor long before anything made thor or forest river, but to each his own.
Of course you’re absolutely right that quality should be top priority. I just couldn’t understand why it seemed like they went out of their way to look like that. It just reminded me of those TTs I’d see in neighbors’ yards throughout the 70’s and 80’s, just sitting there rotting for decades. I was also a bit confused about why there were no floorplans on their website, but after watching a YouTube walkthrough, it seems they are very modular and customizable. They fit bunks into those TTs in some clever and unique ways. Can’t see if they do slide outs, but I suspect they don’t.
