help! dead fridge and headed out today

I have a 2009 jayco jay feather sport. My fridge is dead and we are headed out today. I have replaced the fuse and still nothing. The panel "0" for the temp. I have tried turning the fridge off and back on. Resetting the temp. and still nothing.
Any suggestions?

  • I have propane not problem there. Panel lights come on but read "0" only even when I change the mode or temp.
At this point I think we will just go camping with ice and coolers and take it in when we get back.
thanks for trying to help me.

Do you have propane? Is the pilot lighting and fridge not getting cold, or no pilot light?
    on a 2009 I doubt there's a pilot light.
  • What fridge?

    What fuse?

    Are all panel lights functional/on?

Do you have 12V DC to fridge?

The fridge does require 12VDC for its controller board... 12VDC either comes from the on-board converter/charger unit when plugged into 120VAC shore power or from the trailer battery setup...

Perhaps you have some Battery disconnect engaged on the 12VDC side...

If the battery is dead be aware there is a DOT SAFETY requirement for having a working battery setup for the trailer emergency break away disconnect setup to operate the trailer brakes in the event it becomes disconnected from the truck when being towed over DOT roadways. This might effect Insurance Claims for damages...

    Just a quick thought here

  • Are you trying to run on propane or electric?
If on electric, there is a 120v AC plug in the outside access panel. Are you sure that is getting power?
