Reasonable pin weight?
Load truck like your going camping and drive across a set of scales. Subtract scaled weight from GVWR as listed on drivers door post. That is your honest cargo capacity. Read that as maximum pin weight! If in the real world you have 2,000 pounds left over, that means you can handle a 10,000 pound loaded fifth wheel before you exceed your manufacturers GVWR! Of course that does not include 250 pounds for the slider hitch.
Honestly, you will be able to tow way more TT than you will be able to load fifth wheel.
