Would keep it simple with some chair rail or a wallpaper border. Wainscott is going to put a gouge in your wallet if you need much to make it look like it was planned that way. Not to mention weight. Any chance some decorative picture/poster framed would fit?? How about the oak magazine rack at CW or other stores?
