Your truck if it has the 4.30 axles and appropriate HD towing package should have no problem pulling the weight. Payload may be a concern. Check your driver's door for as equipped payload on the Tire and Loading sticker. You'll want enough for about 1000 pounds of TW, your family and mayybe 2000 pounds of stuff in the bed.
