Hacked the cord in half and connected the cut ends to the panel wires and the controller's IN wires. The OUT wires got connected to the 7 pin (which plugs to the trailer's wiring harness). Now I can put my panel out in the sun, connect the plugs and let 'er rip... er, I mean trickle. ;)
:E Thanks for your feedback. I might consider a single stand alone solar panel in addition to my roof mounted ones, but with 4 on the roof I'm probably at overkill now. I'm one of these people that tends to over do it when it comes to things I don't completely understand. It's the "be covered" principle.
