That's true, but paying forty grand for a 16 foot travel trailer seems pretty high, even by RV industry standards.
Also on the subject of value-for-the-dollar:
I s'pose you're not thinking too far down the road, but it may be worth considering that cargo trailer-based highly personalized trailers have very limited resale appeal, especially when they lack some of the basics (kitchen?) that folks usually expect in trailers.
