Help I'm new to campers

I have a 90 model jayco and has a norcold refrigerator and it blew the 5 amp fuse I replaced with a 7.5 blew it put a 10amp in and it starts to work but... immediately started leaking some kind of green stuff and I pulled the fuse out what is this?? And can I run it like they or run on gas or is it done for??

never replace a blown fuse with one rated for a higher amperage. Nothing good will come of it and you could start a fire. And if a new fuse blows immediately it is because there is a serious problem. Trailers burn really really fast, you don't want to chance even a small fire.

Would you feel safe sleeping in it knowing you had defeated a safety system? I know I would not.

replace the fridge. Ammonia leak in cooling unit
