Like to know who told you that. Not anyone that knows. You only need 30 amps, if you are pulling 30 amps. 13500 BTU ACs do not pull 30 amps.
Just read it was someone on this site. That someone does not understand how electricity works. You need 30 amp service to run the entire RV. Not everything in it needs 30 amps. In fact nothing in it needs 30 amp. But everything combined needs 30 amps. Actually most time if you have everything on. You need more than 30 amps. So. Get a HD adapter, and plug in. Turn on just the AC. It will run.
