I never saw a need to make my panels "tilting". When we are dry camping,I try to park facing north and south and I get great sun exposure during most of the day. Usually facing the N-S direction is not a problem. I also dont have to climb up on the roof unless its just to clean them. The solar dealer in Quartzsite actually recommmended against it. She had solar on her Class A and none of them tilted.
I keep my TC parked under an enclosed carport all year while its not being used and I still get enough light thru the front of the carport to keep my batteries fully charged.
