Thanks to everyone for the responses! Looking online i am seeing different efficiencies of 14%-17% is this a big deal? worth spending almost double the price for?
When we go winter camping its only usually for maybe 2 nights so the batteries can hold out for our needs even without any charging at all. Summer camping is when I will benefit from the solar panel as we camp for over 5nights many times a year. Also in winter it is so dark and cloudy and rainy i cant see the solar panel doing a thing.
I am leaning toward getting two 100w panels both mounted on the cabover area on either side of the bed vent. This way if trees cloud over one side of the camper the other panel will still get some sun and some charging. Im going to check out some prices online, i have found this brand solar cynergy extremely cheap but has only 14% efficiency.
Thoughts?
