Throw away the cushions, and make new ones! We replaced our mattress with memory foam, and have really liked it. We have a 4" mattress, with another 2" pad on top for a total of 6" on a plywood base and it works fine. Also, it can be cut to fit the shorter length of most RV beds. Have a good RV tech check out everything mechanical, stove, water heater, and furnace. Look at wiring for damage also.
It's really thick and sturdy. I'm a little worried that I won't be able to find such firm/ dense foam to replace it. There must be places to get it. Do you know where?
Also - Where did you get your memory foam mattress from? Thanks!
