I release the pressure.
If you use ethanol based anti-freeze (read the label), I would drain it from the tanks, and also open low points, drain it from lines as well. Once run through, no need to keep it in lines.
I use high quality anti-freeze, and purposely put in tanks to lube the valves. IMO, the ethanol based AF may actually cause the valve seals to dry out.
