Thanks for the very thorough review. Did you actually inspect and/or install a ProPride in person? I wasn't following how the comments were made, unless you were just reporting what you've read on forums.
As for the ProPride contacts, the standard number is usually answered by a very nice lady who takes down your name and number to have Sean call back. Once you purchase the 3P, the instructions come with Sean's cell phone #. I never had an issue in dealing with him, and like many others have commented, he responded timely to the many texts/calls to him during my install.
I agree with the jacks; I didn't like them much. For my TT specifically, they could not work. I am currently using the Lippert Strapteks, rather than chains.
I got what I believe is a decent deal, but definitely not at the eBay reman price. It was a little more. Since I live in MI, I have to pay sales tax, so I opted to help offset this by picking up the hitch, rather than having it shipped.
I don't believe there a separate contracted out warehouse. I picked it up from their place, which is an actual shop. Sean was in the office at the time I picked it up, so I can't confirm.
Where does yours leak when baking in the sun? I haven't seen mine do this yet (only about a month old), but I'll keep an eye on it.
