Herculiner-bedliner questions

I have had Line-X and Rhino done professionally and I have done the DIY stuff as well. I did a utility body bed with a DIY kit that was better stuff than Herculiner. In my honest opinion, in order to get it anywhere near what Line-X or Rhino is, you will have a lot of time invested and not much less money. The application rate that they recommend is pathetic at best and as others have said will end up being not much more than another coat of paint. If I remember right, we had $250 in material which included the spray gun and still didn't have more than 50% of the thickness of a professional job. One $44 gallon of Herculiner is not going to come close to matching a Line-X job!
