I'm not convinced small diesels in 1/2 tons are the answer to anything. A mid size diesel in a 3/4 ton could be a boon for larger TT pullers. 350 HP and 500 ft lbs of torque getting decent MPG would be the sweet spot for me. I don't need or want 1000 ft lb behemoths.
