Other than more MPG, I see no use for a diesel in an F150. Even then, a buyer will pay more "up front" for the diesel negating the money saved on fuel. And the payload will most likely be less because of the heavier weight of the diesel engine. :R
If I needed/wanted a diesel, I would automatically move up to an F250. ;)
And I am a Ford guy and love our F150. I couldn't care less about what the competition has or bragging rights. I quickly grew out of that stage when I matured as an adult.
