Well, here's the thing. Ford's manual suggests you set up your WDH to reduce half of the front end rise. So that's what the hitch is at right now. It already tows 100% better than my F150 with the current setup.
Would the crowd here grab another link in an attempt to make the truck sit more level?
It's also not quite as bad as it looks in the first picture.
I agree with your comment, the Combo does look a little nose high, exactly as ours did. Without Maxing the WDB I chose Air bags to complete my leveling issue. basically I knew a Shell was in our future, plus the additional cargo that goes along. It's worked out well for us. - ReneeGExplorerNice eastcoasthd!

Got the new camper a month and a half ago....Already put over 1000 miles on it.....love it. Will need a new(er) truck next. The v-10 is really thirsty but its paid for....love not having a payment!
Know what you mean on the V10. We had a 6.8L V10 and we got 7 mpg towing. Bought a diesel and ending up saving money on fuel! - RollandBExplorerNice looking combo. My philosophy, with a truck that is paid for you can buy a lot of fossil fuel and still be spending less $$. Happy camping!

- 214skierExplorerTraded the Timber Ridge for a 2016 Grand Design Reflection 308 BHTS. Picked up in Portland last week and immediately headed out for a week of camping with the family. So far, I am impressed with this rig.

Clark...you may want to try more tension on the WDH. Mine rides level, without excessive tension.
So instead of connecting it to the third link from the top of the chain like the Camping World guy said, I should try the fourth link from the top?
I only know what I've interpreted through this forum. I suggest you search and read for yourself. But, yes, connect one link tighter. This will cause you to have to jack the truck higher to get it hooked. It should lower the front of the truck. You may also have to adjust the angle of the ball in order to keep the bars of the WDH parallel to the ground and trailer frame. There are some great threads on the subject. - RiverRat78Explorer
