Hitch Ball size
What is the proper hitch ball size for the modern travel trailer? By searching on-line I'm seeing 2' and 2 5/16 and a few others. Surely there is an industry standard.

As trailers got larger and heavier, the ball sizes (or shank sizes) have had to increase. 2-5/16" is the current standard.
