Skipro3......I see we have basically the same set up..same truck (almost) and same bike. couple of questions..
are you using the standard dodge front hitch, single tube?...I think mine is a Curt
Looking at your truck I seems to be a 4x4...my truck sits a lot lower. I am thinking that on the front I would need to use a 'riser adapter' to gain some height.
Trailer?..yes I do trailer the bikes (when the wife may want to ride) however for the times when only one bike is needed it seems to be such a pain the have a trailer along, and I do seem to lose 2-3 mpg (10'box enclosed with square front trailer)
I have a Reese Towpower 65046 2" Square Front Mount Hitch Receiver

My truck is a 4x4. I put a 2" leveling kit on the front only. Dodge, in order to 'improve' fuel economy, lowered the front of the truck to a 'stink-bug' stance in order to reduce air drag in the under carriage. A 2" spacer is installed on top of the front spring to level out the ride. I got the kit off eBay and it took me less than a couple hours to install by myself. I did need a front end alignment after though.
I love carrying the TW200 on the front for trips. So easy now to set up camp and still have the ability to go out exploring without either unloading the camper or breaking camp to do so.
