what's everyone greasing their hitch with? always just used a smear of Vaseline on the ball but suspect now that I have a pro series WD hitch that calls for grease with each use I should get an oil? L...

White lithium grease. Anything that moves and rubs against each other needs some lube. The hitch ball needs it and the spring bar sockets need it. Oil will not lube like grease will.
