what's everyone greasing their hitch with? always just used a smear of Vaseline on the ball but suspect now that I have a pro series WD hitch that calls for grease with each use I should get an oil? L...

I wipe out the hitch and wipe off the ball every spring, then smear a small amount of whatever grease I have laying around on the ball and some in the hitch. Usually it is wheel bearing grease. Or whatever is in the grease guns.
