Hitch on Ford Focus

I would like to put a hitch on my 2016 Ford Focus to add a bike rack. Any suggestions?
  • Etrailer.com.

They have several options, and good instructions including videos. I'll be ordering the curt for mine.
  • You better check the towing capacity on that vehicle, I suspect it will not amount to much.

He doesn't want to tow anything. He wants the hitch for a bike rack

Heh... I need to read these more carefully. Your local U-Haul will install a hitch if you don't want to do it yourself.
  • If you get the option, get one with a 2" receiver (Class3) instead of the 1.25" (Class 2). It will give you more options for a bike rack or other stuff. When we put ours on, the class 3 was only $10 more than the class 2. It doesn't increase towing capacity, but ours, like yours is primarily for the bike rack.
