hitch stop
Is there such a thing as a hitch lock or stop to prevent putting the truck tail light thru the front cap, like I did. Twice... I use and equalizer hitch with torsion bars.

- I can't think of a lock to prevent that. My Suburban gets close and I've always wondered if it was possible for the trailer to contact the TV in a tight turn going forward. The only thing I can think is to keep a close eye on the trailer when turning around and open the turn up if it starts looking like it might hit.
- I have a back up camera. My set up is a normal hitch. Twice while turning around in a parking lot I have cut it too much and the tail light hit the front cap. 2010 Tundra towing a 34" outback 300rb.
Oldcow - A back-up camera comes to mind. A photo of your set up would be handy.
