Not at the same time! Both numbers are max. The diesel weights at least 500 pounds more than the 6.0L gas engine, yet same GVWR. Comes right off payload.
2WD crew cab 3/4 ton Denali - 2500-ish pounds.
Anything placed in front of the trailer axles increases tongue/pin weight. Anything behind the axles decreases. Most 5th wheel floorplans I have seen have more storage in front of the axles than behind.
600 pounds over dry - good luck with that!
