I have a similar "Wish List" that I could have a chassis mount type of camper, except for the lift off part.
Host sold campers with a optional Honda water cooled generator. My guess is the gasoline tank was someplace inside the camper. Someone makes a 6 gallon gasoline tank that is round and shaped like a 5 gallon propane tank! Yet very expensive, it matches the look of the trailer mounted propane tanks.
I think that Four Winds sells a F-550 based chassis mount motorhome with available 4 wheel drive and diesel engine up front! However the generator is propane, and the cargo rating is not all that high, even with the 19,500 GVWR. They do have adequate fresh and sewage tanks though. .
There was also a company that sold campers made for flatbed trucks like the F-550 and where removable. One was 14 feet long on the flat section, with a generous cabover section too!
