Home Depot microwave oven

I really didn't need a microwave. But I noticed a giant pallet of .7 cu ft microwaves at my local HD. I recalled reading a .7 Magic Chef microwave was optional on my TC and there is already a receptacle in the cabinet. So I figured for $40 I'd take a chance. Obviously the cabinet was made for this microwave. It's a perfect fit. :C

The install took me all of a minute. If anyone is in need of a microwave for their TC, you might want to check your local HD.

  • Looks good. And I'm sure you saved a few bucks over buying it from the dealer as an option.

Yeah, it's secured. The legs drop in the cabinet and I slid a piece of foam insulation board tightly on top. It's not going anywhere.

Will that insulation cause a heat issue? No air circulation around the m/wave.

I don't think so. Theres no ventS on the top. And it's not like I'm cooking a turkey in it.
  • Sounds like a good deal, congrats! We don't use ours a lot, but it's good to have when we need it.

How did you secure it in 1 minute?

    This.

You DID secure it, right? If you didn't, it's going to end up bungee jumping from the electrical cord.
  • Microwave and inverter that can power it is great in RVing.
Cosmetically I thing SS would look better, but I am just teasing you ;)
