Honda 2200i Generator on Eco

I currently have a Honda 2000i and have been thinking about upsizing to the newer 2200i, my air conditioner is a Coleman Mach 11.5kbtu that pulls 9.0 running amps (higher on starts). After about 30 minutes, the 2000i is sometimes at its limit when at high desert elevations, whereas the 2200i should do well. Just wondering if anyone in the truck camper community has tried to run a similarly sized air unit with the newer 2200i, but when in Eco mode??
