Reddog the 47201a876 is the new mach 8 cub , not in stores yet
the 49201a876 is the polar cub with r 410 a refrig , there are a few other previous versions , been made since 2009 or 10 ,the data sheet for it shows 11.5 amps , the 9000 series was made prior to that. The reason it says to use the mach 8 cub is because thats what their making or about to make , the main mach 8 page hasent caught up yet , I waited quite a while for them to post the new mach 1 power saver which is the closest thing they make to the polar cub as far as amp draw 9.5, watts in normal 1025 and desert 1260 , locked rotor amps 41.5 . But its a 11000 btuh unit with 320 cfm, drawback is its like 13 inches tall. The new mach8 cub is 300 cfm . To make more sence of it goto literature & tech docs ,in side of the tech info tab, click on product type - rooftop rv ac ,then product series 9000series , 49000 and 47000 you can still see data and product info on all units they dont make anymore, but any polar cub model will tell you its not avail anymore and refer you to the 47210a876 . look at that about in the middle of all the drop down 47000 series , it says mach8 cub.
If you goggle coleman polar cub you will see PPL , Adventurervnet and all the distributers are seling the 49000 seies until they run out and get in the 47000
They dont make it easy do they
